Amrish Patel
Clinical Research Coordinator

Amrish joined RRI in 2019. He holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Fordham University. Prior to joining RRI, he conducted clinical research at Atlantic Dialysis Management Services and led a team of research coordinators focusing on pharmaceutical trials for pruritis and erythropoietin-stimulating agents on in-center dialysis patients. He has an extensive history of volunteering at nonprofit organizations like BAPS Charities and Operations Dreamcatchers, where he mentored youth-related temple activities and visited Guyana to donate medical supplies to underprivileged hospitals and orphanages, respectively. He coordinates and conducts clinical trials at RRI with end-stage renal disease patients on studies related to Alzheimer’s disease, anemia management and testing the feasibility of providing dialysis to patients in third-world countries, in addition to several other studies. Besides science and research, his areas of interest include cooking, volunteering, sports, and experiencing different cultures.
