Yvette Foby is currently a rising Junior at Fisk University majoring in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Originally from Lagos, Nigeria, Yvette is on the premed track and aspire to become a physician. Prior to her internship at RRI, she has been a part of the Health Equity Fellowship which focuses on Public Health among minorities. As well as being a student researcher at the Nelms Neuroscience Laboratory on my school campus, Yvette’s work at RRI is to learn as much as possible while helping with different projects over the course of the summer.
I am continually inspired by the dynamic and innovative environment that permeates every aspect of what is being done at RRI. There is a very collaborative spirit among everyone that works here, and it translates into the groundbreaking research and impacts being made in renal care.
